Lauren Hemmick is a New York–based Art Director who works at the intersection of art, culture, and style, and across digital and print platforms. With a reputation for technical rigor and a deep understanding of typography, Lauren has shaped the visual identities for startups and centuries-old heritage brands alike.
Currently a Creative Consultant at Sotheby’s, Lauren’s expertise lies in editorially driven visual storytelling and brand strategy, working closely with clients throughout the international art market. She is a member of Sotheby’s Media Division, “one of the industry's most passionate and accomplished teams,” according to Kristina O’Neill, former Editor-in-Chief at The Wall Street Journal Magazine (WSJ) and newly appointed Head of Sotheby’s Media.
A native of Texas, Lauren earned her BFA in graphic design from Otis College of Art and Design.
